Kamilya and Lorne officially first married in Montreal, and then celebrated in Toronto's Art Gallery of Ontario a few weeks later. The groom even requested I shoot some film as well. Photographing a five day Pakistani wedding really puts all your attributes as a portrait photographer to the ultimate test. It wasn't just about the many photographs that were possible. It was the many meals that I shared, the emotions that I witnessed and the new friends that I made. It's a special feeling having the full trust of these two families on such days. I believe it all began when I photographed the bride's brother's wedding a few years back.
