The outdoor ceremony had just ended and the family portraits were timeless with all the initial happiness. The bride snuck away and thats always my cue to follow.My photographers instinct was to have my camera ready, hers was to look back…. simple and elegant. One of her favourites and one of few that I will be sharing soon. This wedding was photographed on multiple days and there were a few rolls of medium format film exposed on this wedding.

It may have rained all morning, that eventually ended and not once did the bride complain. She knew there was more to this day than pictures, ironically this character of bride and style of wedding allows for beautiful genuine moments. Believe it or no the bridesmaids wore beautiful white dresses, all part of the plan but there was no confusion here. It was all put together by Liana and her team from Prime Events. Liana put together a fantastic team of vendors who I have worked with in the past and can’t say more about these individuals and their staff. They are the ones that continuously dedicate their everything to guarantee beautiful weddings. Let’s begin with Mark the videographer from Villa View, someone who is always on the look for new angle, always an adventure with this filmmaker. The delicious catering from Societe Traiteur, I come hungry when I know they are on the event. Bar Service with a twist Lawrence Picard. Florist was the one and only Carmel from Atelier Carmel. The beautiful room, lighting and tables were put together with the help of Gala Design, Celebrations, Tenue de Soirée. Music for the ceremony and cocktails began with a trio SoulStation Orchestra and the evening party lead by ZO from No wedding ends without a cake or dessert, we were treated to both! Desserts by Rustique and cake by Miettes et Confetti.

There are many reasons Montreal, Quebec City and Mont Tremblant have been North Americas most popular destination wedding locations. Montreal has many beautiful wedding venues along with its mountain and old charm city streets. This one wedding in particular was held in the faculty building of the world renowned McGill University campus. The McGill grounds are located on the Mount Royal and had special connection to the brides parents. I could have shared hundreds of images but I chose some that I felt represented what the couple expressed to me in what they saw in my photography. I will always be grateful for this experience.
