I have been blessed with a certain family in Montreal that continuously invite me to be their wedding photographer. We all know how colourful Pakistani weddings or any South Asian weddings can be but it’s not only about this. Spending multiple days with all the family members and friends you quickly sense that you truly belong. Literally from the moment you walk into the homes you don’t feel like just the photographer. The genuine hospitality is overwhelming, to a point that you forget that you have a job to do. There’s probably nothing more important as an ingredient for my style of photography than this, that caring and participating in this traditional event is just as important to the task of capturing the images.
So this respect and trust this one family has shared with me, was then equally felt when their extended family in San Jose California hired me. What another delightful experience, what another beautiful couple…..

By the time I had the opportunity to photograph this couple wedding we had already become friends and it all began when he hired me for his brother’s engagement party. Obviously at this engagement I don’t think he imagined that I was going to be his wedding photographer a year or so away. The bride on the other hand might have been ahead in the game. Irrelevant it was a pleasure to see them so many times, as I prefer to be known as George and not “the photographer”.
