Snow White

A few posts back I had Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, and now I have Snow White...no dwarfs...but a handsome groom. Wedding took place at the Chateau St Antoine, St-Antoine-sur-Richelieu...the perfect setting for this bride and groom. Rainy cold day but the bride kept her cool which paid off as you can see from the image of the freshly married couple exiting the church to a bright sunny afternoon! Maryse from Créations Maryse Noël created not only beautiful setting but an atmosphere that was appreciated by all.

Enjoy the few images I have posted..

Urban Very Urban

This groom first called me from Iowa, a far cry from the urban setting of their wedding! We spoke briefly and I was glad he knew his photography, always a plus!! He recognized a quality in my work and booked me over the phone. He picked up his beautiful bride from the W, and we simply walked around St Jacques street and a few others in the area., capturing little moments..kept it simple and genuine.Wedding ceremony then took place in the courtyard between Apollo restaurant off University street across the Bay. The entire event was as elegant and beautiful as our city.....

Enjoy...

HOW IT BEGINS...

One of the first things a bride asks me after deciding to hire me is how I begin the day. I usually know exactly what she means and smiling I reply, “With the bride!”Actually it usually begins at the groom’s location and him getting ready with his ushers and the family, but we all know she's super anxious for her shooting time. As much as I know that all brides are excited to see their men photographed, they are just as excited with what I can create for them... In the next few posts I will display some of what I have created and how I let it unfold....with mom's gentle hands helping zip up the dress, sister with the earrings, the lonely shoe ready for |Cinderella, or that unexpected hug and emotion from dad watching from the sidelines....it's all beautiful to watch and document...
