The outdoor ceremony had just ended and the family portraits were timeless with all the initial happiness. The bride snuck away and thats always my cue to follow.My photographers instinct was to have my camera ready, hers was to look back…. simple and elegant. One of her favourites and one of few that I will be sharing soon. This wedding was photographed on multiple days and there were a few rolls of medium format film exposed on this wedding.

In normal times planning a wedding can be an exhausting task. The last two years has taken a toll on many couples, and many have simply given up on hosting the large wedding they dreamt about. B&J below decided to simply have me photograph a couple only shoot. They were content with dressing up and hitting the streets of beautiful Montréal. Then the family recommended they invite only a few close family and friends and have a backyard dinner to celebrate their marriage. It was absolutely perfect! From urban Montreal background of the couple with their bridal party to an intimate wedding celebration in the family backyard. Maybe this should become common wedding setting and theme.
