There's nothing really complicated about photographing fashion runways. Beautiful girls in stunning gowns, walking the perfect walk. But, I approach them in the same manner as I do my weddings. Looking for that moment you didn't expect, the angle that says more than it should, I wait for it...
The wedding day has many ways of unfolding. For me it's never routine. I feed off the couple and the families and key to this is stepping back and letting the moments take their course. The guidance I provide is very well received but it's what I don't do that allows for this to happen. Let's just say that a "second shooter" may have prevented this from happening. There's a time and place for everything but "shooting" everything is not my approach.
